Corona still defines our everyday life and the way we enjoy events together. Of course, we won’t let the pandemic get us down. On the contrary, we have invested heavily in recent weeks to make events at theLake as safe as possible. The biggest item on our to-do list was undoubtedly the installation of the air filtration system. We answer the most important questions about this and about celebrations at theLake under pandemic conditions here.

Does amSee have an air filtration system?

Yes. The experts from Klimawerker Leipzig installed an air filtration system in the event location amSee. This means that (corona) viruses, bacteria and allergens are now filtered out of the air in the lounge, conservatory and our upper deck at a rate of 99.98%. The new plant meets all legal performance and technical requirements, as well as the recommendations of the relevant authorities.

How many guests are allowed at an event?

Generally, up to 500 people fit on the complete premises of the Eventlocation amSee. Depending on the level of incidence, there may be restrictions on the number of guests. Please check https://www.coronavirus.sachsen.de/ for more information.

What are the Corona rules for events at theLake?

Of course, we always comply with the currently valid regulations and ordinances. Regardless of what rules are currently in place, we apply other measures. Our interiors are regularly ventilated so that we always have fresh air in combination with our air filtration system. A hygiene concept is also in place. In addition, we coordinate with you in advance of your event whether and which regulations apply on the day of your event and adapt our planning accordingly.

Do all guests have to register via a form?

Yep. amSee only closed events are held. Therefore, it is also possible that the organizer creates a fixed guest list in advance, which is then checked off on the day of the event. If restrictions apply on the day of your event in terms of the number of guests allowed (see the 3G rule), we are obliged to check the relevant evidence. So if you want to celebrate at theLake, be sure to bring your vaccination certificate, proof that you have survived the Corona infection, or a current test certificate. Thank you very much!

What happens if an event has to be cancelled?

At present, we do not expect another hard lockdown to occur and events to have to be cancelled. Should the event be cancelled by the organizer due to corona, we will of course refund the advance payments already made by the customer without any objections. In the event of a government-imposed reduction in the number of persons for events in public spaces, we reserve the right to reduce the number of guests in consultation with our customers.
